Who We Train

First Aid & CPR for Teachers & School Staff

Teachers, educational assistants and school staff are the adults in the room when a child is hurt on the playground, chokes at lunch or has a medical emergency in class. Boards, schools and unions differ in what certification they require or reimburse — so confirm with your school or board before booking.

What To Know

Before you book

For individual teachers & EAs

Blended Basic or Intermediate First Aid + CPR/AED fits around the school year — theory online, one practical session.

For schools & boards

On-site group training for staff teams, scheduled for PA days where possible, with scenarios relevant to classrooms, gyms and playgrounds.

For your students

We also deliver our youth safety programs (Home Alone, Babysitting) for schools and community groups — ask about booking a session for your students.

Requirements differ by employer, college, placement and professional institution — no two organizations ask for exactly the same thing. Confirm the certification level your organization requires before booking. If their wording is unclear (or uses the old Emergency/Standard course names), contact us and we\u2019ll help you match it.

FAQ — Teachers & School Staff

Does my board require first aid certification?

Requirements vary by board, role and collective agreement — some roles (phys-ed, guidance-designated responders, EAs) more than others. Confirm with your school or board before booking.

Yes — on-site group sessions are our specialty, and PA days are the most requested dates. Book early; they fill quickly.
