Who We Train

First Aid & CPR for Healthcare Students

From paramedic-pathway and dental programs to kinesiology, pharmacy and community services, healthcare-adjacent programs across Ontario ask students to hold current first aid and CPR certification — often before the first placement.

What To Know

Before you book

Requirements vary by program

Some name a first aid level, some name a CPR level, some still use the old course names. Read your admission or placement letter carefully — it is the authority.

Old names, new names

If your letter says "Emergency First Aid," that’s today’s Basic First Aid. "Standard First Aid" is today’s Intermediate First Aid. We keep both names visible so you can book with confidence.

Certification before placement

Programs commonly require proof of certification in advance of placements. Blended delivery lets you start the theory today.

Requirements differ by employer, college, placement and professional institution — no two organizations ask for exactly the same thing. Confirm the certification level your organization requires before booking. If their wording is unclear (or uses the old Emergency/Standard course names), contact us and we\u2019ll help you match it.

FAQ — Healthcare Students

My college named a specific CPR level — do your courses include it?

Both our first aid programs include CPR/AED training as covered by the curriculum. If your letter names a specific CPR level, contact us before booking and we’ll confirm the right match.

Start the online theory as soon as you register, then attend the next practical session that fits. Contact us if your placement deadline is close.
