Who We Train

First Aid & CPR for Nursing Students

Nursing programs move fast — and certification requirements arrive early. Colleges and universities typically require current first aid and CPR/AED certification before you set foot on a placement site, and the required level varies by program.

What To Know

Before you book

Check your program letter first

Your program or placement letter sets the exact requirement (level, and whether a specific CPR level is named). If the wording is ambiguous, ask your program coordinator — or contact us and we’ll help you interpret it.

Many programs expect the comprehensive level

Intermediate First Aid + CPR/AED is the level many healthcare programs expect; some accept Basic. The letter is the authority.

Requirements differ by employer, college, placement and professional institution — no two organizations ask for exactly the same thing. Confirm the certification level your organization requires before booking. If their wording is unclear (or uses the old Emergency/Standard course names), contact us and we\u2019ll help you match it.

FAQ — Nursing Students

My program letter says "Standard First Aid" — what do I book?
