Life happens — schedules change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for First Aid Responder public courses and group training.
Plain-language policy
This is a practical starter policy written in plain language. It is not legal advice; specific marked items are finalized as business practices are confirmed and reviewed.
Rescheduling your public course
If you can’t make your session, contact us as early as possible. With reasonable notice, we’ll move you to a future date at no charge whenever space allows. [REVIEW: set the exact notice window — e.g. 48 or 72 hours — once confirmed.]
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations made with sufficient notice are eligible for a refund or full credit toward a future course. Because blended courses grant access to online materials at registration, refunds may be adjusted once online access has been used. [REVIEW: finalize refund tiers and any administrative fee with counsel and bookkeeping.]
No-shows and incomplete online theory
The online theory component must be completed before your practical session. If you miss your practical without notice, or arrive without the online portion complete, we’ll work with you to rebook — a rebooking fee may apply. [REVIEW: confirm fee approach.]
Group and corporate sessions
Group training is scheduled specifically for your team, so its cancellation terms are set out in your training agreement or quote confirmation. Generally: earlier notice means more flexibility, and we’ll always try to reschedule before cancelling outright.
If we cancel
If we ever need to cancel or reschedule a session (for example, instructor illness or venue issues), you’ll be offered priority rebooking or a full refund — your choice.
How to request
Contact us through the form on our contact page with your name, course and registered date. We respond to most requests within one business day.
